Teaching Activity of the Department

1. Acquire skills in identification and carving of primary & permanent teeth.
2. Develop skills in age estimation using plaster casts of different age groups,
3. Identify dental anomalies through specimens and plaster casts and microscopic identifications of oral tissues as well as common oral lesions.
4. Identify pathologic conditions clinically and microscopically

Students are vigilantly observed, assessed and trained with regular class-tests and internal examinations.

1. At the postgraduate level a three year program is offered to the students which make the candidate proficient in routine cytological and histopathological procedures.
2. Knowledge about recent sophisticated research instrumentation is also imparted to the students.
3. The department encourages students to participate in national events.
